2-on-1 Reheat Combined Cycle Power Plant

Reheat combined cycle power plant designed for California site with permit requirements to minimize environmental impact.  Two high exhaust temperature advanced gas turbines exhaust into unfired horizontal heat recovery boilers feeding a single reheat steam turbine.  Plant burns only natural gas with no backup fuel supply.  The gas turbines are equipped with evaporative coolers to enhance power production in hot weather, and dry low NOx burners that eliminate the need for water or steam injection for NOx control.  The boilers are equipped with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and a carbon monoxide (CO) catalyst to reduce stack emissions to BACT limits required by locale.  The steam turbine exhausts into an air-cooled condenser due to lack of available cooling water.
